By using this website or purchasing our products, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Policy.

A2. Information We Collect
- Order & account data: name, phone number, email, shipping address, account login details.
- Payment data: processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store your full credit card number.
- Transaction & service records: order details, warranty registration, repair and customer-service correspondence.
- Browsing & device data: cookies, IP address, browser type, and aggregated statistics collected by analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
A3. Purposes & Legal Basis
- Processing orders, delivering products, and reconciling payments (performance of a contract).
- Providing after-sales service, warranty, and technical support (performance of a contract).
- Meeting tax, accounting, and other legal obligations (legal obligation).
- Operating the website, maintaining security, and improving our services (legitimate interests).
- Marketing campaigns and new-product updates (based on your consent; unsubscribe anytime).
A4. Cookies & Analytics
This website uses cookies to maintain your shopping cart, remember preferences, and analyze traffic. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may then not work properly. We use Google Analytics for traffic analysis; such data is processed under Google’s privacy policy.
A5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when necessary with:
- Logistics providers (to deliver products).
- Payment/financial service providers (to process payments).
- Authorities or courts where required by law.
These third parties may process your data only as instructed by us.

This website is not directed at children below the applicable age of consent, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

PART B
After-Sales Service, Returns & Disclaimer
B1. Warranty Coverage & Period
- Motor / Controller / Charger: from the date of shipment 24 months
- Battery: from the date of shipment 12 months
- Accessories (e.g., phone holder): from the date of shipment 3 months
The warranty period runs from the date of shipment. It covers only defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
B2. Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered:
- Consumables and normal wear (e.g., tires, brake pads, belts, chainrings).
- Damage from misuse, accident, improper use, overloading, or failure to install and operate per the manual.
- Unauthorized modification, disassembly, or use of non-original/non-designated parts.
- Damage from improper charging, water immersion, fire, natural disaster, or external force.
- Removed, altered, or illegible product labels or serial numbers.
B3. How to Make a Warranty Claim
Email service@ctakee.com with your order number, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue (with photos or video where possible). Once we confirm the claim is eligible, we will arrange repair or replacement. Local repair service is available in certain regions.
B4. Warranty Shipping
For confirmed manufacturing defects, we will advise how shipping costs are handled on a case-by-case basis; for items outside warranty or found to have no defect, shipping and inspection fees are borne by the customer.
B5. Technical Support
We provide free consultation for installation and use.
B6. Returns & Exchanges
6.1 Customized items: no 7-day cooling-off period (wheelsets, batteries)
Under Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act, for distance-selling orders placed on our Taiwan website, consumers may withdraw from the contract within seven (7) days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason and without incurring any cost, by returning the goods or giving written notice (statutory exceptions apply). This right does not apply to goods listed as exceptions under the relevant regulations (e.g., unsealed personal-hygiene items, customized goods, or goods that rapidly lose value).
To document the condition and completeness of goods at dispatch, we video-record each shipment before it leaves our facility.
Once unsealed or used, these customized items are not eligible for return or exchange except for defects. This exclusion does not affect your statutory rights regarding product defects (see clauses B2, B4, B7).
6.2 Other products: statutory 7-day cooling-off period (distance selling)
Except for the customized items above, for distance-selling orders placed on our Taiwan website, consumers may withdraw from the contract within seven (7) days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason and without incurring any cost, by returning the goods or giving written notice (statutory exceptions apply).
6.3 General returns & exchanges (outside the cooling-off period)
Outside the statutory period, returns or exchanges require the item to be unused, in complete original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Process: contact support → approval → return to the designated address. For returns not due to a defect, shipping both ways is borne by the customer.
6.4 Non-returnable
The following are not eligible for non-defective return: promotional/clearance items, gift cards, and lithium batteries that have been used, installed, or damaged (for safety and hygiene reasons).
B7. Lithium Battery Terms
- Battery warranty covers only material and manufacturing defects, not normal capacity degradation.
- Damage from improper charging, use of non-designated chargers, modification, water immersion, or high-temperature environments is not covered.
- Due to international dangerous-goods shipping rules, battery returns require special packaging and documentation, with shipping borne by the customer.
B8. International Shipping & Duties
We comply with international lithium-battery shipping regulations. Import taxes, customs duties, and other local charges are borne by the customer, as determined by the destination customs authority.
B9. Customer Responsibilities
- Install and use the product correctly per the manual.
- Use TAKE-E original/designated chargers and parts.
- Register the product within 30 days of purchase to support warranty verification.
B10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
- We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by the customer.
- Damage to the original bicycle or other equipment caused by unauthorized modification is not a product defect and is not our responsibility.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; our liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product.
- Product information on this website is for reference; actual specifications are as shipped.
B11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy and any dispute arising from transactions of our products are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.), except where mandatory law provides otherwise, with the Taipei District Court as the court of first instance. This does not affect any rights you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence.

We may revise these after-sales and return terms from time to time and will post the latest version on this website.
